**Guidelines for the Receipt, Storage, and Use of Agricultural Products, Traditional Nourishing Medicinal and Food Products, and Certain Ginseng and Precious Fine Products**

1、 Receipt inspection
1. Appearance inspection
-For agricultural products, the surface should be inspected for obvious damage, insect infestation, or discoloration. For fresh and dried Chinese medicinal herbs such as ginseng, it is important to ensure that the roots are intact and free from signs of mold.
-Traditional nourishing medicinal and edible products, such as goji berries, need to be checked for fullness, dryness, odor, or moisture adhesion in the fruit.
-Some of the products in the premium ginseng mushrooms, such as bird’s nest, should be inspected for their appearance integrity, whether they are broken or impurities.
2. Packaging integrity
-When receiving the goods, check if the packaging is intact. The sealed bag packaging needs to be checked for any damage that may cause air or moisture to enter; Wooden or cardboard packaging should be checked for moisture, deformation, or damage caused by compression.

2、 Storage and Preservation
1. Dry and ventilated environment
-This type of product should be stored in a dry and well ventilated place. If Chinese medicinal herbs such as ginseng and astragalus are stored in a cabinet with dehumidification function or refrigerated in a refrigerator, the indoor humidity should be maintained at 20% -40%.
2. Moisture prevention measures
-Desiccant can be used. Small quantities of high-quality ginseng mushrooms can be placed in a sealed bag or container together with quicklime desiccant (quicklime can absorb water to keep dry). Agricultural products and medicinal and edible products of the same origin, such as jujubes and yams, can be placed in containers with moisture-proof pads at the bottom.
-Avoid direct contact with the ground or walls, place on shelves or elevated containers to prevent moisture erosion.
3. Mold prevention and control
-Regularly check the condition of stored items, especially in high humidity seasons or areas. Mildly moldy agricultural products such as tangerine peel can be sun dried to remove mold spots and then re dried for storage, but moldy ginseng and fine products such as bird’s nest are not recommended for reuse.
-Control the temperature and humidity of the storage environment, and use air conditioning to regulate the temperature during high temperatures to prevent mold growth.
4. Refrigerator refrigeration (partially applicable)
-Fresh agricultural products, such as Ginseng fruit, can be put into the fresh-keeping bag to exhaust the air and then put into the refrigerator freezer. The temperature is set at 0-4 ℃ to extend the shelf life.
-Some traditional processed tonics, such as candied fruits with high moisture content, can be sealed and stored in the refrigerator to prevent spoilage.
5. Anti corrosion treatment
-Low temperature and sealing methods should be used to prevent agricultural products from rotting, and candied fruit supplements should be sealed to prevent spoilage.

3、 Cannot be overused
1. Health risks
-Excessive use of ginseng mushrooms, precious fine products, and traditional nourishing medicinal and edible products poses health risks. Excessive ginseng may cause discomfort,
